De-risking pricing changes with Simulations
Pricing changes are one of the highest-stakes decisions a company can make, and customers needed a way to understand how a new pricing model would perform before committing. Simulations lets customers model proposed pricing against historical usage data to forecast revenue impact, identify outliers, and pressure-test assumptions—turning pricing conversations from hypothetical debates into data-backed decisions. I led design for the end-to-end experience, partnering with the CEO and Engineering to shape the setup flow, results visualization, and scenario comparison views. I interviewed pricing experts to understand what they looked for when modeling pricing changes, then iterated on the results page to surface the metrics that mattered most. Simulations became a key differentiator in the sales process, showing off Orb’s data model advantages and giving prospects a concrete answer to "how will this actually affect our revenue?"
