In addition to helping clients accurately pay their carrier invoices, Loop also wanted to support brokers in the logistic industries correctly invoice their customers. This was a top requested feature from broker clients as they wanted to be able to process their AP and AR invoices on one platform. I spearheaded design for this new project, collaborating with my Product Manager to capture client use cases before designing out the workflow to enable users to draft, edit, and send AR invoices. The experience gave users visibility into both their cost on the AP side as well as their estimated revenue on the AR invoice. To support thorough invoicing documentation, we also included the ability for users to add notes and attach supporting documents from a list of relevant artifacts to their invoices. This new capability unblocked Loop from onboarding key new clients and allowed users to process their carrier and customer invoices together, providing better insight into their cost and revenue.
